Strasbourg continues to lock up the core of its French League runner-up team and the latest player to sign on for more is combo-guard Paul Lacombe, who agreed on a two-year contract on Thursday. Lacombe (1.90 meters, 25 years old) has spent the past two seasons with Strasbourg and won the 2015 Leaders Cup with the team. He joins Matt Howard, Jeremy Leloup, Romain Duport and Bangaly Fofana among players that have signed new deals at the club so far this summer. Lacombe averaged 2.6 points on 38.5% three-point shooting and 1.1 assists over 12 minutes per game in 16 Eurocup appearances and 4.3 points and 2.1 assists in 34 French League games last season. Lacombe started his career with ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne and played five seasons with its senior team before joining Strasbourg in 2013.
