EA7 Emporio Armani Milan has moved to strengthen its frontline with the addition of young-but-experienced power forward Milan Macvan on a two-year contract, the club announced on Wednesday. Macvan (2.06 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Partizan NIS Belgrade where he put up 18 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists on average in six Eurocup regular season games last season. He also posted 11.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists in the Adriatic League. Macvan made his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut in 2010-11 with Maccabi Tel Aviv and made it to that season's Final Four, where Maccabi lost the championship game to Panathinaikos Athens. Macvan has played three full seasons and 48 Euroleague games split between Maccabi, Partizan and Galatasaray Istanbul so far in his career, averaging 7.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists. With these three teams he also won Isreali, Turkish and Serbian League titles, respectively. He also has six Eurocup campaigns under his belt, and he was the winner of Eurocup Rising Star Award in 2009, while playing with Hemofarm Stada. He played most of his first years in Hemofarm after going through the youth categories of FMP Zeleznik. As a member of the Serbian national team, he won silver at EuroBasket 2009. In youth categories, he won gold at the U19 World Championships in 2007, and was also the MVP of the tournament. He also won gold medals at the U18 and U20 European Championships.
