The last week of games in 2004 saw proved once again just how strong and unpredictable the Euroleague is. Two superstars from defending champion Maccabi put up the best individual performances of the week, scoring 65 points between them during a home game in Tel Aviv in which their team totalled 102 points - and lost. Despite Zalgiris's thriller 102-104 road victory, the MVP of the Week was Maccabi swingman Anthony Parker, who amassed an index rating of 35. Parker led Maccabi with 31 points on 8-for-13 two-point shooting and 12-for-14 free throws, adding 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, 2 blocks and 8 fouls drawn. Right behind him, with an index rating of 34, came his teammate, Sarunas Jasikevicius, who posted 34 points on 4-for-9 three-point shooting and 14-for-15 free throws, plus 5 assists and 9 drawn fouls.
