FC Barcelona Lassa added power and strength to its roster by inking versatile forward Rakim Sanders to a one-year deal, the club announced on Sunday. Sanders (1.93 meters, 28 years old) arrives from AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan, where he averaged 12.5 points on 40.6% three-point shooting and 3.5 rebounds in 24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season. He started his career with Altshuler Saham Galil Gilboa of Israel and also played for Brose Bamberg of Germany and Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari of Italy before joining Milan in 2015. Sanders has also three consecutive Italian Cup titles - with Sassari in 2015 and with Milan in 2016 and 2017. He also lifted the Italian League trophy with Sassari in 2015 and Milan in 2016, as well as claiming the Balkan League crown with Galil in 2013. Sanders averaged 11.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 42 EuroLeague career games with Bamberg and Milan.
