Serbian powerhouse Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade announced on Friday night addition of veteran point guard Taylor Rochestie, former Turkish Airlines EuroLeague top scorer, who signed a one-year deal. Rochestie (1.85 meters, 32 years old) earned the 2015 Alphonso Ford Trophy for posting 18.9 points per EuroLeague game while playing for Nizhny Novgorod. Last season he played for Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, where he averaged 11.4 points, 3.2 assists and 1.7 rebounds mostly off the bench in 7DAYS EuroCup action, and also had 12.5 points, 3.9 assists and 1.9 rebounds in VTB League games. Rochestie is a veteran of four EuroLeague seasons, having played in 45 games wearing uniforms of Laboral Kutxa Vitoria, Montepaschi Siena, Nizhny and Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv. He has been averaging 13.5 per game, shooting triples with 45.6% accuracy, while dishing 4.3 assists. During his career he has also played for Goettingen in Germany, Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul in Turkey, Le Mans in France and Biella in Italy.
