Moments before he could play in his first Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game for Olympiacos on Thursday, forward Kim Tillie suffered an injury that could keep him off the playing court into next year. Tillie, 29 years old, was warming up on Thursday for the team's opening game against his former team, Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz, when he hurt his leg. On Friday, he underwent more testing that revealed a detached tendon that will require surgery to repair. Tillie is expected to miss four or more months. Tillie was one of the major additions to Olympiacos over the summer after he had helped Baskonia soar into the Final Four two years ago as an all-around threat, both starting and coming off the bench, who averages 6.2 points and 4 rebounds for his three-year EuroLeague career.
