James Feldeine shone bright in Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade’s huge 106-90 win over Valencia Basket on Thursday night, taking the MVP of the Round award by posting personal career highs of 30 points and a performance index rating of 32 – the best of all players in Round 26. Feldeine made 4-of-8 two pointers and 4-of-6 three-point shots over the course of the action, and he was also close to perfection from the foul line, making 10 of his 11 free throw attempts. He completed his contribution to Zvezda’s impressive win by taking 3 rebounds and claiming 2 steals, securing the first MVP of the Round honor in his 83-game EuroLeague career. Calathes is also the steals leader at 1.52 per night. Arturas Gudaitis of AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan and Walter Tavares of Real Madrid each had three blocks this week. Bryant Dunston of Anadolu Efes Istanbul is the EuroLeague's best shot blocker at 1.73 per game. Calathes, Shved, Moerman, Campazzo, Augustine Rubit of Brose Bamberg, Jamel McLean of Olympiacos and Ante Tomic of Barcelona all registered double-doubles in Round 26.
