Herbalife Gran Canaria continues getting ready for its Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut by re-signing its long-time swingman Oriol Pauli to a two-year deal, the club announced on Saturday. Pauli (2.01 meters, 24 years old) has spent the last four seasons with Gran Canaria. He has helped Gran Canaria reach the 2015 7DAYS EuroCup finals, and semifinals in 2016. Pauli has averaged 4.6 points, 2 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 63 EuroCup games over those four seasons, and had averages of 5.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in helping Gran Canaria reach Spanish League semifinals this season. Pauli joined Gran Canaria in 2014, after arriving from FC Barcelona Lassa, where he grew up and went through the youth categories, and played two years with Barcelona B in the Spanish second division. He has also helped Spain win a silver medal at the U20 European Championship in 2014.
