Herbalife Gran Canaria and veteran power forward Kim Tillie
have come to terms on a deal for the 2018-19 season, the club announced Wednesday. Tillie (2.10 meters, 30 years old) spent last season in Greece with Olympiacos Piraeus,
but missed more than five months after suffering a detached tendon in his leg while warming up on opening night. Upon his return to action, Tillie posted 3.8 points and 2.4 rebounds over 10 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games for the Reds. He spent the previous three campaigns with Spanish side Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz, which he helped reach the EuroLeague Final Four in 2016. Tillie started his professional career with ASVEL Villeurbanne of his native France. He also played for UCAM Murcia before joining Baskonia in 2014. Tillie has played for the French national team, with which he won a bronze medal at the 2014 FIBA World Cup and played at the 2016 Olympic Games.
