WILBEKIN HOMECOMING: Before their Round 11 game, Darussafaka honored Maccabi’s Scottie Wilbekin, who played the previous three seasons with the club, and led it to a historic EuroCup title last season.
SECRET WEAPON: Vincent Poirier has not attempted a three-pointer in his EuroLeague career. He was perfect behind the arc during pregame warmup before Round 11 game.
WINNERS’ CORNER: A seven-game winning streak has propelled Fenerbahce to a sole possession of the first place. Zalgiris and Baskonia had huge home wins, Madrid and Maccabi had a big comeback road wins, while Gran Canaria players dedicated a win in Milan to their travelling fans.
