EuroLeague week on social media

DISCUSSION: A retired EuroLeague star Dusko Savanovic joined Twitter, and his former teammates Dogus Balbay and Sinan Guler took notice, and did not miss an opportunity to coment.

SEEING & EXPOLORING: Bayern had back-to-back trips to Moscow, and Fenerbahce’s Luigi Datome admired some street art, Efes center Tibor Pleiss did some exploring of Istanbul, while James Bell of Buducnost Voli Podgorica caught an amazing view of the coastline in Montenegro.

TEAM CARROLL: It is always fun in the Jaycee Carroll’s family.

TEAM BONDING: These team dinners always seem to work. CSKA players had one ahead of their trip to Barcelona.

LITHUANIAN INSPIRATION: It started as a special week for AX Milan forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas who welcomed his former team Zalgiris Kaunas and many of his former teammates and countrymen. He also welcomed one of his idols, the great Arvydas Sabonis who greeted the player before the game. It must have been inspiring for Kuzminskas, who netted 4-for-5 triple in just 16 minutes in 80-70 victory.

WINNERS’ CORNER: Fenerbahce is on the verge of securing a place in the EuroLeague Playoffs, Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow made new steps in a race for home-court advantage, while Bayern and Maccabi picked up huge wins.
