FC Barcelona Lassa bolstered its frontcourt with the signing of big man Brandon Davies, who was selected to the All-EuroLeague First Team this past season. The contract, which will go into effect after the successful completion of his medical exam, is for two seasons. Davies (2.08 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Zalgiris Kaunas, where he played the last two seasons. He averaged 14.2 points on 55.9% two-point shooting and 5.5 rebounds in 34 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season.
Davies ranked seventh overall in performance index rating (16.9 PIR). In his first EuroLeague campaign, Davies was the EuroLeague MVP for April 2018 after taking Zalgiris to the Final Four for the first time this century. In his two seasons with Zalgiris, Davies won back-to-backLithuanian League titles and lifted the Lithuanian Cup in 2018. Davies has also played for Philadelphia and Brooklyn in the NBA, Chalon-sur-Saone and AS Monaco in France and Pallacanestro Varese in Italy. He helped Monaco win the French Leaders Cup in 2017.
