FC Barcelona Lassa and sharpshooter Alex Abrines
are together again after signing a multi-year deal. Abrines (1.98 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Oklahoma City of the NBA, where he played the last three seasons. He averaged 5.3 points in 31 NBA games last season, but was released from his contract in February due to personal matters. Abrines, the 2016 EuroLeague Rising Star Award winner, played for Barcelona from 2012 to 2016. He helped the team reach the EuroLeague Playoffs in each of his four seasons with the club and the Final Four in 2013 and 2014. Abrines averaged 7.1 points in 97 EuroLeague games in his first stint with Barcelona, which he helped win the Spanish League title in 2014. Abrines began his career with Unicaja Malaga and its affiliated team, Clinicas Rincon. As being a member of the Spanish national team, Abrines helped Spain win respective bronze medals at the 2016 Olympic Games and EuroBasket 2017.
