Zenit St. Petersburg has been very busy early this offseason, and that trend continued Tuesday morning with the announcement that forward Vladislav Trushkin signed a contract extension for another two seasons. Trushkin (2.01 meters, 26 years old) arrived to Zenit last season in which he posted 8.2 points, along with 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals in the 7DAYS EuroCup. He ranked sixth in the Top 16 with a 55.6% three-point accuracy. In the VTB League, Trushkin averaged 6.7 points and 2.0 rebounds, helping Zenit reach the playoff semifinals. Trushkin started his career as a teenager with Spartak Vidnoye, and has also played with Dynamo Moscow and Spartak Vladivostok before joining UNICS Kazan in 2017, and went on to make his EuroCup debut that season.
