Big man Ognjen Kuzmic will head back to his former home after signing to play for Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade on a two year deal, the club announced on Wednesday night. Kuzmic (2.13 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Real Madrid, where he spent the last two seasons. However, injuries limited him to a total of seven Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games in his time with Real. Kuzmic played for Zvezda during the 2016-17 campaign and posted 9.4 points and ranked fifth in the competition with 7.0 rebounds over 30 EuroLeague games. He made his EuroLeague debut with Panathinaikos Athens in 2015 after playing for Golden State in the NBA. Kuzmic owns a EuroLeague championship trophy from 2018 with Real and an NBA championship trophy from 2015 with Golden State. He has also played for Borac Nektar Banja Luka and Celik Zenica in Bosnia, UU-Korihait Uusikaupunki and Lapuan Korikobrat in Finland, and Clinica Rincon Axarquia and Joventut Badalona in Spain.
