Zvezda brings back guard Jenkins
Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade brought back another familiar face by signing veteran guard Charles Jenkins a two-year deal. Jenkins (1.91 meters, 30 years old) returns to Zvezda for a third stint, having already spent three seasons with the Serbian powerhouse. He arrives from Khimki Moscow Region, where he spent the last two seasons. He posted 6.9 points on 42.0% three-point shooting, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 steal over 29 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season. Jenkins has appeared in 137 EuroLeague games since he made his competition debut with Zvezda in 2013. He played two seasons with the club before heading to AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan for the 2015-16 campaign and then returning to Zvezda the following year. A stellar defender, Jenkins has averaged 7.2 points on 43.1% three-point accuracy for his EuroLeague career. Jenkins also played two years in the NBA with Golden State and Philadelphia before beginning his EuroLeague journey. His trophy case includes a pair of triple crowns - Serbian League and Cup and Adriatic League championships - with Zvezda and an Italian League and Cup double with Milan.
