The countdown is on for the start of the 2019-20 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season on October 3! Bojan Dubljevic scored a EuroLeague career-high 22 points for Valencia against Crvena Zvezda in December 2014. Dubljevic matched his career-high with 10 rebounds in December 2017.

A playoff repeat

Baskonia has ousted Panathinaikos twice in the playoffs. It swept the Greens in the 2016 playoffs and eliminated Panathinaikos in 2006 by winning the decisive Game 3 on the road 71-74. Coach Velimir Perasovic was on Baskonia's bench both times.

Anthony Parker set the Maccabi club record for performance index rating with 47 in a game against ASVEL at Astroballe on November 18, 2004. Maccabi went on to win the second of back-to-back EuroLeague titles that season.

Zenit head coach Joan Plaza was Real Madrid’s head coach for full three years, from 2006 to 2009. He coached Felipe Reyes and guided the team to 2007 EuroCup crown and then made his EuroLeague coaching debut in the 2007-08 season. Sergio Llull also played and made his EuroLeague debut under Coach Plaza.

Coaches with a long history

Coach Aito Garcia Reneses of ALBA and Rimas Kurtinaitis of Khimki have long histories of competing against one another, which goes back to the latter’s days as a star shooting guard for Zalgiris Kaunas and later Real Madrid, with Aito planning defenses to stop him as FC Barcelona head coach. Their biggest head coaching duel came in the 2015 EuroCup finals, where Kurtinaitis guided Khimki past Aito’s Herbalife Gran Canaria.

Milan forward Vladimir Micov played for CSKA from 2012 to 2014, during which he reached a pair of EuroLeague Final Fours and won a pair of VTB League titles and was a teammate with Andrey Vorontsevich and Kyle Hines. CSKA guards Mike James and Daniel Hackett have played for Milan: James was there last season, while Hackett spent a season and a half in the fashion capital. He joined the team in December of 2013 and helped it reach the 2014 EuroLeague Playoffs.
