A busy Monday of Media Days all around the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague had as one of its highlights the appearance of powerhouse Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul before the cameras and microphones at Ulker Sports Arena. The first Turkish club to conquer the continent back in 2017 reloaded over the summer with big names, giving visiting and local journalists plenty to ask in regards to what to expect in the coming season. Chief among their targets were Nando De Colo, a former EuroLeague MVP and reigning title-holder, and Derek Williams, whose spectacular play made him one of the competition's most-watched newcomers last season. Likewise, the winningest head coach in EuroLegue history, Zeljko Obradovic, commanded attention as he and his team look ahead to a challenging first encounter of the season on Thursday, October 3, when they visit mighty Real Madrid in the Spanish capital.
