No foreign player in the club's long, successful history has worn the Real Madrid jersey more than elite sharpshooter Jaycee Carroll. You'd have to go way back to find a more successful Madrid foreigner than Carroll, who is deadly in crunch time, always ready to pull the trigger, and a nightmare for opponents even when they know he is going to shoot.

Carroll joined Real before the 2011-12 season and has scored more than 2,000 points in the EuroLeague since then. He helped Real reach three consecutive EuroLeague Championship Games, from 2013 to 2015. After losing against Olympiacos and Maccabi, Carroll led Madrid to the 2015 title, scoring a team-high 16 points – while missing just one shot – in the final against Olympiacos. Carroll would help Real win the EuroLeague again in 2018, downing Fenerbahce in the title game as he scored 9 points in 13 minutes.

  • EuroLeague Champion 2015, 2018
  • EuroLeague Championship Game 2013, 2014
  • Final Four appearances 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019
  • Intercontinental Cup champion 2015
  • Led the 2018-19 EuroLeague in free throws shooting percentage (96.0%).

Just two players have made more three-pointers than Carroll's 366 since he walked into the EuroLeague, despite his having started just 32 of his 227 games to date. No three-point shooter ranked in the top six in that span has a better accuracy rate than his 42.5%. He ranks fourth in triples and seventh in overall scoring on a per-minute basis this decade. All told, his instant offense and killer instinct have made Carroll one of the EuroLeague's biggest game-changers of the 2010s.
