MVP Vesely out indefinitely for Fenerbahce
Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul center Jan Vesely, last season's Turkish Airlines EuroLeague MVP, will be out of action until further notice due to a knee injury, the club announced on Friday. Vesely (2.13 meters, 29 years old) has appeared in eight of 11 games so far this season, averaging 7.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 24 minutes per game. He has been diagnosed with a lateral tibial plateau stress reaction of the right knee. Vesely has been removed from team practices to follow an individual rehabilitation process. "Jan Vesely’s improvements will be monitored every week and there is no timetable for his return to full action yet," the club statement concluded.
