AX Armani Exchange Milan has bolstered its roster for the playoffs run with the signing of swingman Drew Crawford for the rest of the season. Crawford (1.96 meters, 29 years old) will make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut on Thursday when Milan hosts FC Bayern Munich. He arrives from Gaziantep of the Turkish League, where he has been averaging 13.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists through 16 games. Crawford was the Italian League MVP last season while playing for Vanoli Cremona, which won the Italian Cup and finished second in the regular season before losing to eventual champion Umana Reyer Venice in the playoff semifinals. He averaged 17.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 34 games for Cremona. He had previously played in Israel with Bnei Herzliya and Maccabi Rishon LeZion and in German with Ludwigsburg.
