Zenit St Petersburg forwards Mateusz Ponitka and Andrey Zubkov are set to miss time due to respective injuries. Ponitka will be out for six weeks due to an ankle injury. He was injured in the first quarter of a domestic VTB League game against UNICS Kazan. Zubkov suffered a thigh muscle sprain in the same game and will not travel to Spain to face FC Barcelona on Thursday. They have joined Dmitry Khvostov on the injured list. Ponitka is averaging 9.7 points and 4.6 rebounds in 16 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games this season. Zubkov is averaging 4.3 points in six EuroLeague games this far. At the same time, Zenit center Gustavo Ayon is not 100-percent healthy due to a finger injury, but will play against Barcelona nonetheless.
