He will undergo surgery and the average recovery for such a procedure is four months. Spanoulis, 37, suffered the injury during his team’s game against Zalgiris Kaunas on Tuesday. He averaged 11.3 points and 4.6 assists in 22 games this season for the Reds. Spanoulis, a three-time EuroLeague champion and the 2012-13 EuroLeague MVP, is the competition's career leader in points (4,239) and assists (1,516) and ranks second in three-pointers made (484).
