Zvezda adds Lucas at point guard
Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade added depth to its backcourt with the signing of Kalin Lucas until the end of this season. Lucas (1.89 meters, 30 years old) is a veteran point guard who returns to the competition having previously played nine Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games with Olympiacos Piraeus back in the 2011-12 season. Last season Lucas spent playing between Detroit of the NBA, where he appeared in one game, and Grand Rapids and Stockton of G-League where he averaged 21.4 points, 5.5 assists and 3.7 rebounds over 38 appearances. During his career, Lucas also played with Banvit Bandirma and Ankara TED Kolejliler in Turkey, Hapoel Jerusalem in Israel, Qingdao in China, Memphis in the NBA, as well as Iowa and Erie in the G-League.
