CSKA Moscow reached a new agreement with center Joel Bolomboy to keep working together until the end of the 2021-22 season, the club announced Monday. Bolomboy (2.04 meters, 26 years old) joined CSKA before the start of the 2018-19 season, in which he helped the Russian powerhouse win the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the VTB United League titles. He is averaging 5.7 points and 3.9 rebounds in 25 EuroLeague games this season. Bolomboy started his professional basketball career with Utah of the NBA and also played for Salt Lake City and Wisconsin of the D-League, and Milwaukee of the NBA before joining CSKA. He is also a member of the Russian national team. "I am extremely excited to remain in the CSKA family!" Bolomboy said after the agreement. "It is a blessing and an honor to continue my career here. I have grown as a player and person since day one, and am excited to be able to continue that."
