Regular Season Round 27 disciplinary sanctions

Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 27 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season. The sanctions are based on infractions of the competition bylaws that all teams are aware of and obliged to fulfill.

  • OLYMPIACOS PIRAEUS has been sanctioned with fines amounting to a total €38,000 for the lighting of fireworks, the use of laser pointers, the conduct of fans committing acts showing lack of respect, and the insufficient preventive measures taken to avoid disturbances on occasion of its home game against PANATHINAIKOS OPAP ATHENS in accordance to Articles 29.2.e), f), g) and j) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
  • MACCABI FOX TEL AVIV has been sanctioned with fines which amount to a total of €10,000 , the conduct of fans committing acts showing lack of respect, the throwing of objects to the playing court and the invasion of the court on occasion of its home game against ANADOLU EFES ISTANBUL under Article 29.2.g), h) and i) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
