2000-10 All-Decade Team: Nikola Vujcic

An incredible offensive talent with great court vision, deep shooting range and post skills, Nikola Vujcic has made his claim as one of the best passing big men to ever play basketball. A two-time Euroleague champion and a five-time All-Euroleague selection - including the first team on three occasions - Vujcic is the competition's only player to record a triple-double – and he has accomplished that feat twice. Most important, Vujcic's virtuosity helped Maccabi Tel Aviv win back-to-back Euroleague titles in 2004 and 2005 and to reach two other finals, in 2006 and 2008. Once he rewrote European basketball history with Maccabi, Vujcic helped Olympiacos to make it to the Final Four in 2009, for the first time in 12 years. The length and breadth of his contribtions are such that Vujcic finishes the decade ranked first among all Euroleague players in overall performance index rating, second in rebounds, third in points scored, fourth in blocked shots and - amazingly enough for a center - sixth in assists.
