AX Armani Exchange Milan added another dangerous scorer to its backcourt with the signing of scoring ace Kevin Punter, the club announced on Thursday. Punter (1.93 meters, 26 years old) made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut last season, which he split between Olympiacos Piraeus and Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade. In 23 games, he averaged 11.6 points and 1.2 assists. Punter made 11 appearances with the Reds to start the season and averaged 6.8 points and 1.9 rebounds before moving to the Serbian capital and posting 15.9 points on 48.1% three-point shooting in 12 games with Zvezda.
Punter returns to Italy where he played for Segafredo Virtus Bologna in the 2018-19 season. He tallied 14.2 points in the Italian League that season in addition to 16.0 points on 41.8% three-point shooting in the Basketball Champions League to lead Virtus to the title while claiming final four MVP honors. It was Punter's second consecutive BCL title; he lifted the trophy with AEK Athens in 2018. Punter started his professional career with Lavrio of Greece and also played for Antwerp Giants in Belgium as well as Rosa Radom in Poland.
