AX Armani Exchange Milan locked up promising guard Giordano Bortolani on a contract extension through 2025, the club announced on Saturday. Bortolani (1.93 meters, 19 years old) is a product of the Milan youth system who spent the past season on loan to Biela. He averaged 14.9 points per game in the Italian second division. Bortolani played in 12 games for Milan during the 2017-18 season. A veteran of the Italian junior national teams, he made his debut with the Italian senior national team last season, too.
"Olimpia has always shown great interest and confirmed it to me once again with this contract," Bortolani said. "I am very happy and motivated to show them that they are right."
