Olympiacos Piraeus reached an agreement with power forward Hassan Martin, who signed a two-year deal with the Greek powerhouse on Tuesday. Martin (2.01 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, where he averaged 13.6 points in 9 7DAYS EuroCup games last season. He ranked 5th in PIR average (19.4), first in blocks (1.67 bpg.), 4th in rebounds (8.0 rpg.) and 12th in two-point shooting percentage (67.5%). He joined Buducnost from medi Bayreuth, where he averaged 13.8 points on 67.6% two-point shooting, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 18 German League games in the 2018-19 season. Bayreuth was the second stop in his professional basketball career, which started once he graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2017. He made his professional debut in Japan with Ryukyu Golden Kings in the 2017-18 season. Martin is set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Olympiacos next season.
