Olympiacos Piraeus signed athletic power forward Livio Jean-Charles to a two-year deal, the club announced on Wednesday. Jean-Charles (2.05 meters, 26 years old) spent the past three seasons with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, where he has spent most of his career. He averaged 9.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in 27 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season, which was his first in Europe's premier competition. A product of the French elite sports academy, INSEP, Jean-Charles began his professional career with ASVEL in 2011. He also played parts of two seasons with Austin in the D-League and with Unicaja Malaga in Spain. Jean-Charles helped ASVEL win the French championship in both 2016 and 2019. He is also a member of the French national team.
