Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade strengthened its backcourt by signing shooting guard Jordan Loyd
for the coming season. Loyd (1.93 meters, 27 years old) made his EuroLeague debut with Valencia Basket last season, during which he averaged 11.1 points on 42.9% three-point shooting plus 2.4 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 18 appearances. A season earlier, Loyd helped Toronto win the NBA championship. He had started his professional career in the 2016-17 season in the D-League with Fort Wayne before debuting in Europe with Hapoel Eilat in Israel League, where he averaged 17.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals in the 2017-18 campaign. Loyd then split a season between Toronto and its D-League affiliate team Raptors 905, before joining Valencia last summer.
