KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz announced on Saturday the signing of small forward Rokas Giedraitis who inked a three-year contract. Giedraitis (2.00 meters, 27 years old) arrives from ALBA Berlin, where he averaged 13.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season, which was his first in the competition. He also helped ALBA win the German League championship. In the 2018-19 campaign, his first with ALBA, Giedraitis played a major role in the German powerhouse reaching the 7DAYS EuroCup Finals and was named to the 2018-19 All-EuroCup First Team.
Giedraitis played for several Lithuanian teams early in his career, including Siauliu Saule-Aukstabalis, ABRO-Universitetas Siauliai, Mazeikiai and Siauliai before joining Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius in 2015. He spent three seasons with teams from the Lithuanian capital. Giedraitis is also a member of the Lithuanian national team.
