FC Barcelona and center Brandon Davies reached an agreement to extend his contract through the end of the 2021-22 season, the club announced Wednesday. Davies (2.08 meters, 28 years old) was already under contract for one more season and this deal will keep him at the club for an additional year. He averaged 9.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 28 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season, his first in Barcelona. In his two seasons with Zalgiris, Davies won back-to-back Lithuanian League titles and lifted the Lithuanian Cup in 2018. Davies has also played for Philadelphia and Brooklyn in the NBA, Chalon-sur-Saone and AS Monaco in France and Pallacanestro Varese in Italy. He helped Monaco win the French Leaders Cup in 2017.
