Olympiacos Piraeus signed three-point ace Aaron Harrison to a two-year deal. Harrison (1.98 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Galatasaray Istanbul where he has spent the past two seasons. Over that time, his 14.92 points per game are a fraction behind former MVP Errick McCollum (14.94 ppg.) for most in the EuroCup. He also ranks third in three-pointers made (63) and points scored (373) over that period. Last season Harrison averaged 15.9 points, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 16 EuroCup games.
One of the top high school players in the United States, Harrison then - along with his twin brother and former Khimki player Andrew Harrison - led his college team, the University of Kentucky Wildcats, to back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Final Four. After three seasons split between the NBA with Charlotte and Dallas, and the D-League with Oklahoma, Erie, Greensboro and Delaware, Aaron Harrison joined Galatasaray and found a new home. Now Harrison will make his EuroLeague debut with Olympiacos.
