Efes keeps Sanli for at least another season

Anadolu Efes Istanbul reached an agreement with Sertac Sanli to keep the center for next season with an option for the 2021-21 campaign, the club announced Tuesday. Sanli (2.12 meters, 28 years old) averaged 7.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 21 games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague in 2019-20 for Efes. It was the Turkish big man's second campaign with Efes after winning the Turkish League crown in 2019. He played with Besiktas for the two previous seasons after having appeared in the EuroCup in 2015-16 for Trabzonsport. Sanli started his career with Genc Tel and then played for Galatasaray, with which he played in the EuroCup in 2010-11 and 2012-13 and in the EuroLeague in the season between. Sanli also won the Turkish League trophy with Galatasaray in 2013. Sanli also has played for Tofas and Usak and is a member of the Turkish national team.
