Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul added firepower to its roster by inking shooting guard Jarell Eddie to a one-year deal with an option for another season, the club announced Monday. Eddie (2.01 meters, 28 years old) arrives from UCAM Murcia, where he averaged 14.4 points on 44.0% three-point shooting and 3.1 rebounds in 22 Spanish League games last season. He tied a club record by hitting 10 three-point shots in a game against Joventut Badalona. Eddie also led the Spanish League regular season in three-pointers made by hitting 3.5 per game, the best average in the league since the 2008-09 campaign.
Holland started his career with Austin of the G-League and has also played for Washington, Chicago, Phoenix and Boston of the NBA, Windy City of the G-League and Strasbourg of France, the latter with which he helped lift the French Leaders Cup trophy in 2019. Eddie is set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Fenerbahce next season.
