Zvezda brings back home-grown wing Radanov

Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade welcomed back a home-grown wing with the signing of Aleksa Radanov on a two-year contract, the club announced Wednesday. Radanov (2.02 meters, 22 years old) arrives from FMP Belgrade, with which he averaged 11.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 21 Serbian League games last season. Radanov grew up in the Zvezda youth ranks and helped the club win the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament title in 2014 and returned to the ANGT Championship Game in 2015, losing to U18 Real Madrid and Luka Doncic. Aleksa debuted professionally with FMP and played there for two full seasons before splitting the 2017-18 campaign with FMP and Zvezda. He made his 7DAYS EuroCup debut the following season with Zvezda before returning to FMP for last season. He won the 2018 and 2019 Serbian League crowns as well as the 2019 Adriatic League title with Zvezda. He will be making his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut.
