Olympiacos Piraeus learned on Saturday that a knee injury will sideline its most productive big man, center Hassan Martin for more than a month, all while the team tries to make a late playoff push. Martin had a meniscus tear in his right knee during a Round 25 loss against Anadolu Efes Istanbul, and by early estimation, he is expected to miss five or six weeks. Playing in his first EuroLeague seasons, Martin has been coming off the bench in all but six of his appearances this season, but the 25-year old center is third among the Reds with 22:54 minutes played while averaging 9.0 points and 4.6 rebounds. He ranks fifth in the EuroLeague this season with 72.0% two-point accuracy. Olympiacos, which holds an 11-14 record, is now set to be without his services as it is trying to snap a five-game losing streak and shrink a gap in a tight playoff race.
