Fenerbahce's Vesely out two weeks
Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul learned that it could be severely depleted in the regular season finale, and possibly the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs, due to injuries that their star duo of Jan Vesely and Nando De Colo suffered in Friday's loss against FC Barcelona. Vesely played only 6 minutes before exiting that game in the first quarter after rolling his ankle and being helped off the court. He was unable to return and the tests on Saturday morning revealed a left ankle ligament injury. Vesely is set to miss Fenerbahce's Round 34 game against Real Madrid on Thursday. He will be reevaluated in two weeks, just before the start of the playoffs. A time-table for his return has not been established yet. De Colo suffered a trauma after knee-to-knee collision with Nick Calathes with 4 minutes left in the game and had to be assisted off the court. De Colo will be game-time decision for Thursday's game against Real, the club announced.
