Milan adds muscle with Mitoglou

AX Armani Exchange Milan added some muscle to its frontline by signing Dinos Mitoglou to a two-year deal on Friday. Mitoglou (2.10 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, where he spent the past four seasons and saw his production rise each year. Last season he averaged 9.3 points on 57.5% two-point shooting and 5.4 rebounds in 34 games for the Greens, including 23 as a starter. He was the MVP of the Week after shining with a career-high 29 points plus 12 rebounds for a PIR of 42 to lead Panathinaikos to a 94-78 victory over Khimki Moscow Region.

During his time in Athens, Mitoglou helped the Greens to three Greek League crowns and the 2019 Greek Cup. Before that, he played college basketball in the United States at Wake Forest University. Mitoglou, whose father Dimitris was a football star for PAOK Thessaloniki, began his career with Aris Thessaloniki.
