EuroLeague opening week on Social Media

TEAM BONDING: Fenerbahce players went out for a team diner ahead of their EuroLeague season opener.

BUILD-UP: The long wait was finally over this week as everyone was ready for the new Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season to tip off.

CATCHING UP: Zalgiris center Joffrey Lauvergne and CSKA guard Daniel Hackett returned to their respective homelands. Lauvergne used an opportunity to catch up with his former teammate, now ASVEL president Tony Parker, and Hackett met many of his former teammates in Milan. Hackett was not the only one in Milan talking with his former teammates and playing against his former club.

HISTORY MAKERS: Monaco made history, not only with its EuroLeague debut on Thursday, but also with a win over Panathinaikos to complete a special night in the Principality, where the occasion and elite-level basketball brought out Albert II, Prince of Monaco, as well as F1 driver Charles Leclerc.

THANK YOU, FANS: Fans returning to the arenas in large numbers made the opening week even more special. Players and clubs loved to be able to thank the fans for their support again.

WINNERS' CORNER: Helped by the fans who returned to the arenas in large numbers, home teams dominated, winning eight of nine opening round games.
