CSKA Moscow power forward Toko Shengelia
is set to be sidelined for at least two months due to a shoulder injury, the club announced on Friday. Shengelia injured his right shoulder joint in his team's Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game against Zenit St Petersburg. According to preliminary estimates of doctors, Shengelia will miss at least two months. Shengelia earned MVP honors in each of the last two rounds, and erupted for a career-high 33 points in the game against Zenit, in which he got injured. Shengelia ranks second in the EuroLeague in PIR average (24.3), was the competition's second-best scorer (21.0 ppg.) until now, and also averages 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 6.0 fouls drawn.
