All games played from December 7 to 11 in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup were dedicated to supporting One Team.
One Team, Euroleague Basketball's social responsibility program, works with people at risk across Europe. Since its founding in 2012, the One Team program has already reached, directly or indirectly, more than 22,000 participants through its various team projects.
The annual One Team Games celebration is traditionally used to bring the program participants together on the basketball court, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the celebration was moved to an online format to make sure that the participants were protagonists during these special dates. Ambassadors from all 42 EB Teams wore special #WeAreAllOneTeam hoodies to raise awareness about the great work that their clubs are doing locally to support their communities.
Ambassadors also showed up to give inspirational messages to the participants during the online Meet & Greet events held during the celebration, with participants invited to wear the special #WeAreAllOneTeam t-shirts designed for the games.
You, too, can support One Team by purchasing #WeAreAllOneTeam items from the Amazon Store at https://www.amazon.co.uk/euroleaguestore. All royalties generated from the sales will be reinvested to create pandemic relief activities for our communities.
One Team actively works on the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, focusing specifically on Reduced Inequalities, Gender Equality, Health and Wellbeing, and Quality Education.
